    350x coil test

The service manual states the primary resistance should be 0.16-0.2 ohms. Mine measured 0.5-0.7. Would this excessive resistance cause a weak spark? Even though it's no doubt that it's an original coil, should I be concerned? It runs fine with tons of power.

EDIT: Oh snap, the manual stes to remove the coil from the frame. I neglected to do this step. I'll retest it tomorrow.

Okay, so according to the service manual the resistances should be as followed:

PRIMARY: 0.16-0.2, mine checked at 0.4

SECONDARY: 3.69-4.51, mine checked at 4.14 which is in spec.

So should I be worried about that primary resistance being a little high? It starts and runs great; no problems. Just got bored and decided to test it. I just get anal sometimes on the little stuff. I'm always looking for the small things to make it run it's peak efficency.
