I'm in the process of restoring my 1986 125wmx Cagiva. A bike that I used to race here in our So Calif. desert. I rode them for 2 years, 84 & 86. These bikes were very inovative for thier time, excell rims, ohlin rear shock, ragina chains, detachable rear subframes. The bikes really never caught on in the US, mainly because of marketing, however if you look up any info on the Europeon Motocross racing circuit in the mid 80's, they were dominate in the 125 class. The 3 wheeler on this page was derived from a 1983 or 84 200wmx. The 200 engine was a 125 motor on steroids, high rpm engine and very fast, unfortunatly it had crank and rod problems. But I'm sure the engine in a 3 wheeler in the 200 class was something special.
