1985 Honda "Big Red" with a 185 motor???

I'm thinking about buying a couple trikes from a neighbor, and I'm a little confused... He has (this is what he told me) a 1985 Honda 185 Big Red. I was under the impression the 1985's were all 250's? He told me it has been in his family for years and years, and the engine has never been swapped to his knowledge. What the hell could it be???? :?

Sorry, pics not available (no digicam) After talking some more with him today, he told me that it is the larger sized trike (I haven't seen it yet, it's in storage) and has racks for both the rear and the front. Were there any other models that had front racks other than the Big Red?

    1985 250es

If it is a 1985 Big Red, it will say 1985 ATC250ES on the identification plate. This motor has electric start with a backup kickstart on the right side behind the small plastic under the edge of the seat.

Here's the stupid question of the day: Is the ID plate located up on the frame by the handlebars like on a dirt bike? And thanks for the info!

    ID plate

It is on the frame by the front of the gas tank. If you look below the handle bars on the side of the frame, it is tucke dup by the front of the gas tank.
