    05 crf450r motor in an 85 250r atc rolling chassis

    has anyone ever done this? i have the motor and the rolling chassis. im good at fabricating. has anyone already done this? are there any pics? any help would be appreciated. thanks

    you will need lots of frame mods for this to work - then once you get the cradle to accept the motor (height issues) - you have to deal with the air intake / rear shock mount interference. not easy at all - but possible depending on resources and talent!

    They were selling an 08 NEW leftover 450R quad for 3700$, IMO that would be an easier conversion. Like Tim said it may look easy but allot of this takes allot of hours and trying different locations/gussets etc etc.
    All our government does is distract us while they steal from us, misspend our tax $ and ruin our country

    They still have this deal going on at almost all Honda dealerships. just keep in mind - $3700 does not include freight and doc fees plus registration (here in PA) and taxes - you are looking at roughly $4400 out the door - still a freaking steal in my opinion.

    Honda list them on their main honda.com page at $7499 - so this is 49% off MSRP! Nearly buy on get one free!
