Anybody here think they can restore this tank?

Ive been trying with failure. If anyone here thinks they can do it, let me know and we'll talk.

Nothing at all is made for this bike anymore. So the more of the decals and marks that can be saved; the better.

Have you tried vintage motorsports? You know the guy who is a member on the boards here. I'm sure he could do a fine job on your tank. It might cost you, but his stuff is in the honda museum.

    ^ A Kawasaki street bike

I'm sure VMS could restore it to new condition if it's worth the effort based on the model...........

I sent him a PM about 3-4 months ago and never received a response. Well it was him or OC.

Will try again. This was my dads first bike... so I wanna get back to new condition... other than this ****ing tank, the rest is still mint.

easy. decals dont matter, take good pics with measurements. any good decal guy could reproduce them easily enough. if you need a guy that does decals, holler and ill PM you his email. the guy is busy, but his prices are great and he does good work.

take lots of pictures with measurements. anyone that does paintwork could paint the tank like that again, and most likely be able to do all the work to prep the tank as well.

It's what I learned on. Kawasaki has had many parts so I'm surprised. NOS tires, gaskets, seals, cables... Really the bike is mint except the tank. It was stored correctly so I dunno how it happened.
