    High Idling Problem

    My 250 sx is idling really high in Neutral (Doesn't do this with any gears engaged)

    Ive tried adjusting the pilot screw with no avail

    Also took apart the carb and cleaned all the jets

    any suggestions?

    By pilot screw do you mean the one on the bottom of the carb? Have you tried to manually turn down the idle speed with the screw adjuster on the right side of the carb. Maybe raise the c clip on the main needle.

    make sure the needle isnt bent, someone mine got bent on my sx and that thing revved like crazy at times, sometime it even popped out of its slot and stuck wide open, try the middle notch

    Got it fixed

    Just had to adjust the cable where it goes into the thumb throttle assy

    Purrs like a kitten now!!!
