i just got a 1983 yamaha tri moto 175 the motor runs great the only problem is every gear goes in reverse can anyone give me any ideas why it might be doing this or maybe where to start to figure out whats going on with it

lol thats frigin cool man i didnt know that would work on these but your engine is running backwards iv seen it on some old single cylender sleds some times when they back fire when shutting down i dont know what causes it or how to fix it but im sure thats whats happening i would try pull or push starting it but be carefull there very tippy when pulling & you shouldnt have to try very hard if shes been running good otherwise thanks for the info im gona try it some time its the same way the skidoos put reverse on there sleds
