85 350x motor swap???

I'm trying to remember what other motors will go into the 350x frame... I think it was the XL600R motor if I remember right but who knows! I know there are a few of you out that that have done the swap or at least know what will fit so if you could help me out that would be great!

Check that thread. Most require lots of modification/fabrication.

Easiest is likely a 250x or 300ex quad engine. 1987-1992 for the 250x, and 1993-2006? for the 300ex. 300ex has electric start, not sure if all years have reverse. 250x is a five speed with reverse.
