ATC-185S dies on steep up or down hills

Ive taken the 185 out a few times now for some trail riding and cant seem to figure out why it dies out on steep uphill climbs(the kind where you are standing/leaning over the bars to keep from flipping backwards) power is great and all of a sudden it will just die out. ended up going full steam backwards and rolled it last weekend because of it. it will also die out going down steep hills slowly when holding the brakes... not as much of a problem since i found out it will push start itself if given enough speed. any ideas?

I think this issue is normally related to your float in the carb bowl. I would check to make sure that it is working properly and set to the correct level
