Is this even possible? I'm talking pulling the rear suspension off of a newer trikes (or quad) and with a few mod's slapping it on theof an older one?

There really isn't much of a way to do it with just a few mods. Most all aftermarket suspension kits were specialized for each model they fit. There actually was alot of consideration that went in to the making of each kit and how they fit. You can still find older kits to fit many different trikes and sometimes you are able to find complete frames.

It only takes a couple of weeks of cutting, measuring, fabricating, welding, and painting. It was so much fun I did the front suspension, too. Check out my "How to turn an ATC into an ATV in a few easy steps" thread.

You gave a Trike four wheels? lol. Just kidding. Looks real nice. Keep us updated I would like to see this to the end.
4 wheels?
85 Honda 200x, rider build almost complete, need aftermarket rear shock.
85 Honda 250es, with some work to do.
Finished and riddem several times, only problems I've had are the muffler mounts cracking - I underestimated the weight of the 450r muffler and the stress it puts on the mounts when landing after a hard jump.
It's only a 200cc, but since it only weighs about 300 lbs, it goes pretty quick.
