Tecate Ice Racing Tires? These look real good

I just noticed these on E-Bay I never heard of them but they look real good for Ice Racing. If Im correct there wasnt much option to getting good tires for the Tecates. Maybe these will be a good choice. Probably better than my 18" Fast Trekkers I had to get for my 84-85

depends on the compund.. are you running studded or un studded ice racing?? if your running studded you want ahard tire to keep the studs in, if not than soft is what you want

Three wheeler guys probably have the biggest balls out of all the ATV/Motorcycle riders. You just have to be a little twisted to ride them, and you have to be a great rider to do so.

Yea I didnt research them, I was getting ready for work. I just thought the tire choices for the 1st Gen Tecates were limited. I bought some 18" Fast Trekker Blems for like $30 each and studded them with cold cutters The little time on the Ice they seemed decent but I didnt direct the slots and all that. These tires will probably be better for the ice on 84-85 Tecates than the Fast Trekkers. What other option is there for the ice?

im running chin shings on my 200x, ran them on my 300bb 82 250r mutt, and ran them on my 426ex quad.. there the way to go for ice riding/racing.. never worried about having the studs all angled right for racing sinc ei dont really race all that much, but when i do the 'screw em in and run em' works just fine

fast trekkers work good for studs to,, only lost about 4 on my 84 200x.. and i spend more time sideways than i do going straight
