Hi Guys, I'm new to the site, but have had ATC's for 25 years. Original owner of an '83 BR. I'm glad to see there is a place for Ss to share their pride, too as I currently have (3) 1985's, one in immaculate condition, needs nothing, and two that are very nice. As I work to improve and restore them, it is important to me to keep them as close to original as possible. That being said, I have been trying to track down original P/V 301's. I see restores and the like where people are replacing them, but where are they finding them? Honda direct has updated part numbers but is unable to show what the replacement tire actually looks like. I don't want generic knobbies and I doubt the 301's are still in warehouses. There is one new one on ebay for $175, but that's a bit steep. Perhaps someone has a set of take-offs or excellent condition ones they are willing to part with?! Thanks for help. Glad to be here.

Here are a couple pics of mine:

Planned changes include a 350x front end, some wheel spacers out back with my 350x rear wheels and some 22" Mud Sharks. After that I'd like to extend the swingarm, add a rear rack, and change it up with a White tank, blue seat and 350x Honda wings on the tank.

This is my SX..love this machine. I really feel it doesn't get full credit..seems to sit in the shadow of it's big red brother.

Set mine up with the similar 'Bear Claws' that "mrtwidster" did..love it! Goes thru anything now..damn those knobbys they came with didn't do this machine any favours!!

I bought the 350x front end from a great board member here (fire1) and the boots were on it.

Is there any advantage of a 350x front end over a 200x front? Or is it like comparing blondes to brunettes?

You can leave the stock front end on and get a 11" rim to fit, then spacer it to get the offset right..it worked for me.
