i was on e-bay and found some asshole parting out a mint condition 85 200x!!!!!!!!!!!! he said it still has 70% tread left on the ORIGINAL tires!!!!!!!! it shows some pictures and this thing is all there all original and MINT what a asshole,i think we should all sign a petition that would make it so ATV's in general COULD NOT be parted out if there value was like $200 or more as it sits,just my 2cents,oh and howdy im sorry about my language im just very angry right now as u can imagine

If it wasn't for people parting out trikes, most would be dead now. I have bought a few parts from parted out trikes. Trust me If I find a good deal on a trike I will part it out in a heart beat.

Yeah I've had to kill a couple also to restore a couple. I hate seeing people part out mint looking bikes though like nascarfan on ebay was doing a while back. I saw that bike you were talking about, its actually a 86 200x, kinda sad

I am ready to part out my 86 200x because I cant even get $800 for it on here. If you don't want to see it parted, put your $ where your mouth is and buy it.

I was in the same boat once. I tried to sell a very nice 86 200x for $850.00 for 6 months. I finally parted it out, for around $1600. Half the trikes out there are nothing but a collection of reassebmbled parts anyways. If I parted out my Z, would everybody jump all over me? At this point in its life, its made up of about 85% used replacement parts, anyways. I can see keeping matching motor and frame serial numbers together, but everything else is nothing a bunch of parts. Where they end up being reassembled should not upset anybody.
