Looking for history on West coast swing arms

Looking for conversation on what everyone knows about the West coast swing arms. EX who owned the name, where, magazine ads, what thy all fit and what they sell for now. Me along with alot of other people I'm sure would like a history lesson. After this lets start another thread on something else. No bashing please

I know the Westcoast for the Tecate's I assume being early models had a fixed steel strut mount, and I assume later models had an aluminum bolted on adjustable mount.

    Rides:
1986 ATC250R (sectional pipe and Klemm Research silencer)
1986 ATC250R (Desert Bike, WAX-ON seat, Dual Cibie lights, Steering Stabilizer)
1979 ATC110 (Bandito frame and forks, Turbo wheels, disc braked)
    1982 ATC70 (Lifan manual 125)
    1987 LT80 (piped, widened)

I had a westcoast +2 on my 200x in the late 80s. The cast aluminium shock mount was toast by 1990 or so, very cheesy IMO.

I think westcoast was best known in the PWC performance market in the 80's. They sponsored a rider #5 haul'n' Harry Goetcher as there 550/650 mod rider. I have a lot of old jet-ski racing video with him in it. They made some awesome aftermarket parts. My 550sx had a westcoast "rec" head, full pipe, intake etc....very fast for a 550. I have a WC 44mm intake waiting to go on my 650sx. I don't know of much other than swing arms that they made for ATV's....they might have made AM hubs also..
    Don't worry...just run watcha brung...
