    Picking Up a Big Red

Well, I came across this bad boy and am picking it up Sunday. This is the only pic I have of it right now, and have not seen it in person, but could not pass up the price. What do you guys think? What are the odds that the fenders on the left are broken? Click image for larger version.

Its a fixer-upper, but the potential is there, if the price was right.

looks like the left side fender is busted. If you look closely you can see it just above the seat and just below the rear rack

If it ain't locked up and runs...snag it. Has front/rear racks...not too bad condition.

Go for it, looks like a good winter project, just be aware that the plastic side panels for the rear fenders are hard to find!

Snag it up. Gotta love the Big Red. $200.00, around here that would be stealing it, lol.

Sweet I bought one in similiar shape earlier this year for $100. Broken/missing right fender, stitched left fender, didn't run, tank gross inside, etc

that has serious potential. Id love to find one like that lying around. It looks very unmolested, apart from it being outside so long. Theres not a drop of oil on that motor!

Looks like a good deal for 200 bucks compared to the prices we pay up here for junk. Is that maybe a 1987? Looking at the tank decals it might be. Don't see too many of that year up in Canada.
