I don't think either one is an 86. The 200x looks like an 83 or 84. It has black fork boots. I don't think they sold a 200s after 85.
    Rides:
1986 ATC250R (sectional pipe and Klemm Research silencer)
1986 ATC250R (Desert Bike, WAX-ON seat, Dual Cibie lights, Steering Stabilizer)
1979 ATC110 (Bandito frame and forks, Turbo wheels, disc braked)
    1982 ATC70 (Lifan manual 125)
    1987 LT80 (piped, widened)

The 200s was sold 84-86 but that tank looks like it's from an 85

thanks, kinda confirmed what I was thinking on the x, there is enough doubt to hold off ordering parts. for what I'm getting them for, its still a deal regardless of the year

as for the 200s looking at this
    http://www.3wheelerworld.com/Brochur...86atc200s.html

its kinda hard to tell 85 and 86 apart, but read on a different thread here that the 86 200s is fairly rare. so I'm skeptical. would be cool though.

Ask him for the VIN's and look them up for sure. I was told my '82 was an '84. Seriously... who remembers the '80 anyways?

talked to the guy again today and he say's he's positive they are both 86. Going tomorrow to get them, will let you all know. Bids for the S if they are indeed rare-ish?

He said the forks have been rebuilt and he used black shock boots cause he was trying to make an all black bike.
