While riding around today my YT175 caught fire.
After installing a new jet in my carb, i went for a ride. About a mile down the road headlight died and my trike caught fire, burned through the fuel line almost immediately.
It burned my CDI, intake manifold, rear brake cables, wiring harness, throttle cable and the air filter.
My questions for you guys are these:
Can i use a CDI from a 125?, Can i use the Intake boot? can i use the wiring harness?
I just wanna go fast. If your not first, your last!!

How did you put out the fire? Or did it burn out on its own? It looks like you were able to shut the gas off.

Friend rode back and got a fire extinguisher. In the mean time i was throwing dirt on it. Yeah, i got the gas turned off right away.

Yeah, still got to get alot of parts nowBut i gotta find out if a YT125 CDI will work on the yt175
