Just Got BUSTED on MY OWN PROPERTY

I've had a REALLY SHTY WEEK... My dog died on Sundy and my new $1100 brake job is SHT. So I went to work on a R that I had for awhile. Put a whole new rear, axel, and brakes on it today and took it for a spin across the street on the faimly's farm/woods. Now the whole neighborhood uses it every day. But we have a storage units on the edge of the property. The kids are riding their retaining pond, it's a killer bowl. An employee saw me riding in our wetlands right on the edge and called the cops. I dont ride their proterty, it's about 1/2 arce and only the pond.
So the cops came while I'm feeding my horse at the barn and arrest me for tresspassing. I was like you gotta be kidding me. But oh no in the abck of the car I went. They also took the bike. It seems sence the kids were riding it the owner was pissed and wants to file charges. Even thogh I didn't ride on it the cops said they were tire of chasing the kids back on our property. They know who they are cuz they cut through to get over to us to ride. But I'm going to be the example so that everyone knows not to cut through.
Now the bike has no title, Ebay frame. I had to BEG them to let me get it back. I had to explane it was a frame off ebay. So they ran it and it came up clean but took it anyway just to be DICKS. They said they wanted me to pay the tow fee and to come in tomorrow to get the release form. I'm also getting tickets mailed to me, what they are I couldn't tell ya cuz I don't know.
Never in 26 years have we had a problem.

my week has been just as bad. legal issues and medical.
I can't believe you were arrested for that. Thats the kinda stuff that makes me want to go on a rampage.
I am soo sorry for what happened and you make sure those kids are yelled at.

back in the day we had cops called on us riding all the time and we actually were trespassing and we got lucky enough for the cops to just tell us to go home. One time a friend ran from them....thats another story.

sorry the damn system gotcha, its not fair but life isn't either.

If you were not trespassing and you were arrested for trespassing. Maybe you should get a lawyer and sue for false arrest or something.

I would sue 2 the NJ police are turning into a bunch of nazi keystone cops.Sorry you/ve had a bad week mr rpm and lindenwold.I had to put my dog down back in march it was a very hard thing for me to have to do.Its a shame our state is run and is in a perpetual state of greed by money hungry @ssholes.

Dude, that is total bullocks. If you truly did not trespass and you were in fact on your own property then fight it, fight it, fight it, until the bitter end. That is beyond wrong if what you are saying is true.

I'd fight it but I wanna see what comes out with the tickets. It's one of those he said he said things now. The police wanna prove a point and stop the street riding and cut throughs. It'll end out making me put up a cable fence acroos the back of the property. They know if it happens to me all the sht will stop. Cuz I'll BTCH. With all the people from the site who has ridden here they'll tell ya I don't run ya over there.
I'm more worried about the bike. I just put in a new top end, coolhead, oldskool PT pipe. And today to get my mind off of sht I put in all new lonestar in the rear, new rotor and new 9in douglas's with fasttrackers. All I wanna do is get it out of impound and not cause any trouble with them. I really don't need them breaking my balls and they will. We have very bored cops here who can make normal life a living hell.

I guess I'm fortunate that the cops up here mostly grew up with three wheelers or still have them and are really cool about us riding, they usually just give us warnings and let us be, sometimes they just tell us to go somewhere else and ride sorry to hear the east coast is such hard butts about it,

If they arrested you on your property you can file invasion of personal property charges. That's bullchit. If a pair of bored cops came on my property uninvited without a warrant and arrested me AND took one of my trikes, they would regret it!!
