another trike found me!!!! new addition to the family =) update, PICS 12-26-10

Theres a guy who we have been doing work for (the guy where I ranted on the 450 HRC kit in the quad forum)that said he needs a Yamaha warrior worked on, he need engine work. so to pay for labor he offers a 1984 atc 200s. Without even seeing it we accept.

It came over yesterday and looks pretty good, Unfortunately its been spray painted camo (paint removing tips for plastic and tank needed) has a little cosmetic issues but the guy says it runs good. We weren't able to test it as it was late and the pull starter is broken (hoping its just the rope).

It has new tires (knobby ballons) all the way around and should be a fun ride.
Now that my 110 is becoming a garage queen more with every dollar I spend on it this can be my mudder that i dont mind scraping the fenders a bit.

    Ill get up Pics later.
what are the odds of every trike coming our way (we dont find trikes, they find us) being an 84, my dad wants to now own every model 84 ATC out there.

Post a pict, I like seeing camo 185/200s.
Removing the paint? solvent may work depending on what the guy used to paint it. More likely a repaint on the metal will be needed. As for the plastics, there a little harder to do without major work.
My 185 came with a sprayed camo job. I wanted a solid ride so most of my money went into the mechanical stuff. I found it easier to just go with it. I got the camo specific paint and touch up the frame, and a realtree quad tape kit for the fenders and tank.

got it running today, it fired right up with the help of the big red and a rope. the thing is soooo tippy, the tires on it are supper soft and its quite narrow. but its pretty quick. a stab at the throttle in first will lift the front tire even when your not trying.

some adjustments, and dialing in and im sure it will be a fun ride.

the 110 has some pressure now. the big red is a heavy tank and im confident the 110 will beat that, but the 200s will beat it im guessing, who knows. lol
