using paypal?

For those that use paypal can you offer some advise? Have you had any problems do you find it secure? Also I was wondering If I should use my checking account or a credit card thanks for the tips.

Used it several years - 0 problems sending or receiving money. One tip - never ever send money as a gift for parts or service. If you do and the deal goes bad you have no recourse. Some sellers will ask you to do this to save them paypal fees. Instead of agreeing to do this, offer to pay a little extra to cover the fees.

As far as linking it to your checking account - I have done that too and have had 0 problems but I linked my paypal account to a checking account I only use for paypal transactions. If you are using paypal to buy parts only - no selling I would just use a credit card - no bank account.

I too have had no problems at all with Paypal and have had my account attached to a credit card as well as my account itself.

i use it all the time and even have a paypal rewards card. been using it for atleast 3 years and always been able to get things straight on bad deals
