best option for cleaning/polishing gold wheels

getting more done on the 250r resto and i was just wondering what the best option was to clean up or polish my gold 250r wheels. I was going to try some stuff that i have but didnt want to take any of the gold off.

I'm not sure exactly, but I would think avoid metal polishes that scour the surface
