You can see the front tire, I CANNOT ride a quad when I can't see the tire turn. I guess I focus more on the turn than I had thought...........

They're better because they're more dangerous & "outlawed".

I have the exact same problem as you DC. If i cant see it turn, i get all messed up in the head. Its like driving a boat. Quads turning radius is horrible compared to my trikes. The worst i think is the false sense of security most people have when riding them. To much power mixed with a horrendous amount weight..... FTL

a quad drifts and steers like a car... a trike follows the front tire like a motorcycle.... way more fun.. trikes wheelie and cut donuts like no other.. the lighter weight makes them excellent hillclimbers and drag racers. smoother ride.. easier to turn around and lift out of sticky situations... better in mud and snow than a equivelant quad. And of cousre Cheaper to buy!!!!

3 wheels are better just by fact there is a lot more you can do on them, they are better for things like wheelies, donuts and the like, they are a funner ride and just better because they are illegal. Just badass really.

my favorite thing about them is theyre cheaper to produce then a 4x4 because a 4x4 needs a pricier engine, and frame. while a three wheeler just needs the two wheels in the back to chug em long the front tire just kinda chills out while its connected two 2 forks.

Less maintence in the front end as well as less to break. I get more looks on the trails when I ride my trike, than when I take my custom streetbike on a ride.
