Look what followed me home today

1984 Big Red. Traded an old snowmobile that I got for free for it. Runs ok Needs a new carb. I think. Hi lo and reverse all work. Tires hold air but are a little wore. The battery was frozen. This is the second wheeler in 2 months. I got an 85 200s a couple months ago. Needed new chain and sprockets.I got all that fixed. It smokes and uses quite a bit of oil.I am thinkin top end rebuild. Anyone in Minnesota done one of these? I could do it with a little help. I will attach pics of both of them.Click image for larger version.

Did my first ever top end by reading the manual and getting the machine shop work done by the local ATV dealer. I have some mechanical background but it was new ground on an OHC engine. The book explained everything very well. Good luck.

And so the addiction starts We have all been there and are still there..lol Nice bikes. Top ends are easy. Just read the manual procedure entire before you start to tear down. As stated before take any machine work to an atv shop, thats what I did. Congrats on the new toys
