That looks pretty sweet. Did you repaint the gas tank yourself?

Yes, the tank is Rustoleum Sunrise Red spray can with plastic nozzle attachment. It matches very good with the Honda red. There is about 6 coats of primer on there and then 6 coats of red. No runs. It came out nice and glossy. And then a whole bunch of wax coats to help minimize fading if fuel gets on it. It came out way better than expected considering it was our first experience with bondo. Harlan did the decals, and as usual, he hooked it up good. We let it sit for about six weeks before decals and wax.

We hated to see the 2x6 wood under the seat go. It was the most classy part of the trike. We did use it in our fire that evening.

oh yeah, and about the on the front. I dont think the tire has had air in it for the last year. Funny thing is that we aired it up and it seemed no different! Classic!

That's amazing. Looks almost like a brand new trike. Great job. Where did you get the new rear fender? Or did you re-work that too?

scotts4050- The rear fender came from a guy in wickenburg az. He had some misc parts for a 185. All I did to it was change out one of the mud flaps, clean it up real good with some degreaser and then put a bunch of 303 marine protectant on it. I think it cost me 59.00 plus lunch for me and my girlfriend and a little walking around the town which was kind of cool. If you are in the phoenix metro area and you need parts for a the older 185s, 200s, 110, there are a couple of guys that have a lot of stuff for real cheap.
