    86 200x jets

so its my understanding that the 86 200x uses a 112 main stock, which my bike has, only mod is a fmf muffler, but its also cold out 35 degrees or colder ( ice riding)..

i took it out last fridaynight and it was around 28 degrees out and i noticed my header glowing slightly.. onyl about a inch or 2 worth were glowing and i couldnt notice it unless the light was off, only does it when running wide open throttle, idle, and mid range it done glow so i know i need a bigger main.

i know you cant jet over the internet but im lookin for input on what other guys are running for jetting on the main to get a idea of what to run. i dont know if 120 is gonna be enough or should i go to a 125,

i still have the lid on, and a stock style foam filter, just the fmf megamax2 muffler welded on it, winter riding ill be riding anywhere from 35 degrees down to 0 degrees

Three wheeler guys probably have the biggest balls out of all the ATV/Motorcycle riders. You just have to be a little twisted to ride them, and you have to be a great rider to do so.

I have stock bore but completely refreshened.
    -Full DG exhaust
-UNI airfilter (no inner spark arrestor)
    Cleaned the carb perfectly.
Installed a moose carb rebuild kit to start.
-Tested numerous configuration and stuck with this. ---- Stock pilot is #35 main is #112----
--#38 pilot jot with #130 main jet. I have the needle in the middle, and air screw out about 3-1/8th turns out. Air box lid on. My spark plug has a nice tan color.
If you have a white tip, your lean. If you have a black tip your rich. Try adjusting you needle up or down to. To richen your mixture with the needle, move the circlip down, to lean out move it up.
I would say a 120 is probably enough if you only have a slip-on and stock airfilter with internal spark arrestor. If you have a UNI, TWIN AIR, MOOSE, etc airfilter. Maybe a 125 might be ok.

thanks for the reply. i got a 125 main, i figure if its to rich i can take the lid off, ( easyest way to adjust for temp changes) like i said its cold out and when ONLY on the main the header would glow, could leave it idle for 10 min and it wouldnt, ride it 1/4- 3/4 throttle and it wouldnt glow, but once i made awide open throttle pass it would glow, id rather be a little rich for cold riding than lean, my motor is very healthy so i dont wanna wreck it
