Just lookin for some opnions i either want to add the big bore kit to my tri z motor or put a yz 490 motor in it. I just want to make it alot faster i just love drag racing with it but have a chance to get the 490 motor. thanks in advance

i am building a tri-z 490 right now is is a easy swap the exhaust is going to be the hard part make sure you get the right year 490 motor early motors will not work my motor is 87 i think raffa has a 86 motor

Okay thanks for the info. its a 90 model just didnt know which would run better in a 300ft drag a big bore ported tri z motor or a ported 490 motor for the money . I was thinking about putting a banshee on there but didnt want to mod the frame . this way i would have both motors to still fit . u cant beat everybody.
