Made my 1st desktop 3 WW mouse pad at work today Tecate hardware 3 wheeling mags pics

Well almost all of the students are gone and I had a full day to do some things I have wanted to do for a while. I have been making desk top mouse pads out of 3 ply chip board for the last couple of years.I am still using my 1st one that is about 3 years old so they hold up well. For the longest time I have wanted to do a 3WW mouse pad so I dug real deep into my computer and found the logo. I brought it to work and set it all up in Auto Cad and ran it on the laser cutter as a raster job. 1 Pixel at a time. It took about an hour and a half and for a first run I think it came out pretty good. Heres a picture of it before I clean my desk up an lay it down. Gonna try some different settings tomorrow to see if I can do better. I also designed a 84-85 Tecate Air Box lid today for the vacumn former. Its half way there its complete in 2d but I need to convert it to 3d and run a form in the mill and then vacumn form it. Im going after the old school UFO style. Also got a pic of the hardware I bought for the Tecate today.Also a pic of 1984 collection of 3 wheeling magazine I found on C.L. Need to get pictures of the 85 Collection they are in real good shape. Not bad for a free deal that I made happen faster by throwing a $20 bill his way. Also have some 86 mags.

I just like the 3ww logo so cool there nothing super special but the mouse pad does last for a long time. I just threw up the logo and etched it. I have other design patterns for around the edge and a Dragon in the center. I should be able to do any picture like the 3ww logo. A raster image and lower detail works easy. Other than that I have to draw or trace a picture which is time consuming. Next up is etching Anodized Aluminium. Made a cool business card from that with my previous mouse pad design with the dragon. Came out reall cool looking. Now some professors and other people want me to make them a card. LoL I guess there is a phone app that lets you take a pic of a business card and it stores it in your phone like a business card or whatever. Im not into cell phones so I have no clue. I can probably make some if someone wants one or design one maybe. Only problem is that I need to do it during the slow times at school, which are at the beginning and very end of the semesters.
