my 85 250r (which i thought was complete and original) doesn't even have that bracket..its only got the 2 bolt clamp deal thats up a little on the front side............o well it works just fine ...good luck jeb

Yes, I'm clear on it now. Thanks guys! I need to look at the manual pic again, I thought it was showing an extra boss on the fork to bolt that on.

I don't know what i was looking at. :shock: In the Factory Service Manual, it clearly shows it held on by the top caliper mount screw, not an extra boss on the fork.
