I got V Force 3 reeds on my 82 atc 300r and they are awesome! I think they are worth the money.

I didn't really get to do a before and after comparison. I had a regular 250 with boysen reeds before then I completely rebuilt everything with a flotek ported 300r cylinder. All I know now is that it very fast!

I got the v force 3 reed cage for my 85'r when it came out. I paid $150 (ouch). I've seen it for $120 (still hurts). Obvious improvement over stock reed cage tho. No problems with petals yet either-few years later. Although I've been told the v force 2 is better-not sure why?.... They mount to the stock intake manifold- unlike the "boyseen rad valve" that comes with a built-in intake manifold.- Not sure how much those go for or if its better? They sure are nice too........ Anyway, If you got a stock motor- you might/or might not be disapointed for the money spent. (not sure what you have done) Its probably best to put a bigger carb and/or porting to the cylinder first-if possible.- Then you would get the most performance out of the reed valve. But it is a simple bolt-on mod that can be done even without the bigger carb/porting which is nice. And you will feel a difference no matter. Just try and get the best price you can! Anyone get a chance ever to try and compare some of these designs?

I have the VF3 and love it. NO MORE BLOWN-OUT REEDS!! I haven't used stock in years and boysen wasn't cutting it. you should notice it on a stock motor if not somethings wrong. I think it's a great upgrade and worth the $$.

For sure, get some. Had them in all my motors so far. Make it much more peppy and responsive, I would say it unlockes a little bit of power.
