I have two motors that I need to get running and I need some help concerning the timing chain.
I have a machine shop and have built up 5hp racing brigsas well as made countless other stuff, but i need to know is how to work around the timing chain on these lay down Honda's.
1. How do you remove the chain?
2. and how do I put it back on in the correct position? I assume it has timing marks naturally, but how do I line up the lower sprocket with the one on the cam? TDC and the cam in what position?
I could use some exploded views and general advise. I want to lay down a nice port and polish job, then mill the head....sound good? yes/no... I'm not spending tons of $$$ that's the point most punch for the least amount of money.
