First: This isn't about morality. It's about NOT doing stupid things that will ruin or damage OUR sport as ATV enthusiasts. 3 wheelers got a bad rap for things just like this. Sidestepping the issue IS condoning the ban back in the day. Sticking your head in the sand isn't going to make the problem go away.
Second: When the OP posted that he reinjured an old injury due to no brakes and driving drunk he opened himself up for this.
"i resently screwed up my arm i busted earlyer this year because my brakes dont work and i was a little drunk "
The OP made this about drinking when he posted the above sentence. He has also been lambasted enough and the situation was pretty much buried until you rode in here and said we should stick our heads in the sand and ignore the attitudes and bad behaviors that get our riding areas shut down, our atv's banned from sale, or other laws started by the power that be. Because they think that things like riding a 3 wheeler drunk are the norm, from seeing these actions in person, in print, or on message boards.
"Apathy" You should look that up. It's the reason why we are in the hole we are in here in the United States. How do you feel about helmet rules? Should we throw all that aside as well? It's not really my business if you crash into someone with out a helmet, but the following flack could hurt my ability to ride my three wheeler due to your actions. I'm thinking you are the one who doesn't get the point.
