    400ex rear hubs on a 250r ? ?

I just ordered these hubs off ebay . I guess my question is : are stock 400ex rear hubs wider than stock 84r hubs ? I talked to the seller of these hubs and i was told they will make a 400ex or 300ex 3 in half inches wider. See where i'm going with this ? So does that mean it will make my 84r even wider ? Just something that has been bouncing around in my head this afternoon.

toledo tommy, the hubs you ordered are wider than stock and the stock hubs for an ex are already wider. this will add almost 3 inches to each side. post a pic when you put these on, im curious to see the stance.

What i'm talking about is: These are Extended hubs that make a 400 / 300ex wider. So the question is: Are 400ex stock rear hubs wider than stock 84r rear hubs ? If so these are extended rear hubs , so would it be even wider than the 3andhalf inches. Because stock 400ex hubs are already wider than stock 84r hubs , These are extended rear hubs made by G-force. So would you think these will be even wider on a 84r ?

if you put stock 400ex hubs on the 250r it will be about 1 1/2 inches wider than the 250r hub on 1 side. when you get your set from ebay it will add almost 3 inces to 1 side.

are the spline sizes of the 400ex hubs different than an 85 or 86 250r? arent the 85 axle splines where the hub slides on bigger?

Yes, they are different. 24 splines for the 250X/300EX/400EX/450R (there are more) and 27 splines I believe for the 85-6 250R and 350X.
