    CAGIVA 3 wheeler # located Thread

    Hello all,
    I had an email from a guy that found and purchased a cagiva 3 wheeler off the Tulsa craiglist yesterday. I know Andy mentioned there were 65 produced. I am looking to get an accurate count on documented cagiva finds via ebay, craiglist, and members here. If I missed any that you know of let me know or please add it to the list. I am going to hit some old threads now.

    My wife's uncle raced a 250R back in the late 80's as a teenager and he told me how he would always beat this guy in local trike races. Then the other guy showed up one day with a Cagiva trike his dad bought him and he was able to finally win. I keep meaning to ask my wife's uncle if he still knows that guy to see what ever became of the Cagiva.

    Mine is still pretty much untouched. I rode it around a bit then started collecting parts. The only thing i am missing is brake parts, plastics and seat cover. I have everything else to needed for the rebuild but didnt want to tear into it until i have found everything or very close to it.

    This is what I love about OC, he doesn't post much, but when he does, he comes out swinging. 2 great posts sir. And I think Andy has 4 now, I'm sure he'll chime in. Oh, and ask him about the horror stories of the 125 and the 500 he found. Yes, the other 500.....ouch.
