    Adjusting Valves Question

    Hey to all,
I still got the 110 and someone down the street wants to buy it. I got it started yesterday only for it to start and die start and die. I think it is the valves causing this can someone explain to me how to adjust the valves? Thanks in advance- J

Check your plug? Carb? Try getting some carb & jet/choke cleaner.

to check your valves, if you aint experianced with tools, dont do it yourself, get a friend or someeone who is!! take off the valve covers and then take a feeler gauge and check the free play, i believ when its on TDC?? someone can correct me if i am wrong on that, i am not sure on a 100, but on a 200 it was 0.05 i think

    valve adjustment

I don't have a book on the 110, but I do know this...Valve adjustment should be done with the engine at ambient temperature, preferably below 95 degrees Farenheit. Always make adjustment with the piston at TDC (valves closed). The adjustment for the ATC 185, 200, and 200x is 0.003 inch, not 0.005. I think 0.003 would be fine for the 110 as well (should be adequate for most overhead valve honda's).
