    85 200x chain and sprocket question

    I want to replace my rusty drive chain. Is the 520X88 the same as my stock one? Also can I use a 13 tooth front sprocket with that chain? How much of a difference does that make in top speed?

    Yes, 520x88 is the correct chain. 13 tooth front sprocket will work, just have to adjust the chain tension. It'll give you more top end.

    You need a 520 chain, the 88 is the number of links. I don't remember how many links a 200x uses but normally I just get 120 links and cut the extra off. If you get extra links then your safe if you have a longer swing arm or different size sprockets then stock.

    About 5 mph as long as the motor has enough torque to pull it.
