    ATC90, yes or no?

So a guy locally is selling a 1970 ATC90 for 200 bucks, here's the description:
"ATC90 with balloon tires front is good back are junk but got two other tires for the back ran 5 years ago but not now but has compression have all parts rear fenders have been fix and painted and never got put back on the bike if you want more pic just email me"

From the picture it looks like it's just sitting in his yard(fenders off) half buried in snow. The forks/headlight/handlebars look to be in great condition.

I realize there's very little to go on and many things that could be wrong with it, but any ideas of what's wrong and how much it could potentially cost to fix?

I would deffinatly try to talk him down on the price, by the description, it will need some new parts, and some work.

could be something as simple as a dirty carb or mis adjusted points, ok so im not a four stroke guy, but the price sounds pretty fair for my area, just dont know how pricing goes where you are

For canada, where everything is expensive, I thought it was pretty decently priced, I was going to try to talk him down anyways. My dad's a mechanic, and we have a friend of ours who is a small engine specialist, so labor won't be a cost, just parts and stuff.

Buy, buy, buy. These are not common in Canada. Trust me I've looked. Bought one in Alberta, 1 in Manitoba and two in Ontario. Some great parts sources here. The rear tires will be your biggest challenge. If you don't care about stock balloons you can convert fairly easy to regular ones, or if you want balloons and don't mind the odd patch or plug they can be had for cheap. Good luck, let us know how you do.
