I have a 1980 honda 185 three wheeler my kid was riding it she said it made a ping sound and just quit. It does not have any compretion I tore it apart the piston and rings look ok. What else shoud I look for?

Yeah take a look at the head. Are either of the valves open slightly? I had a quad with a bent valve and you could see it was open all the time when looking at it

Gotta be something with the head. Like everyone else said, check the valves.

thanks I will check the valves. when I took it apart the cam chain was off the sprocket I thought that was the problem I put it back on and put everything back together but it still did not have any compression
that chain cant just be put back on the spocet its gota be timed with the fly wheel sorryif you did but you didnt say anything
if that chain came off and there was a ping sound i bet my ass you have a bent valve
