I'm saying that the motor isn't normally where a Honda or Kawasaki motor is. The motor is located rearward under the seat. It doesn't use a Front cradle as a Honda atc would.

    Rides:
1986 ATC250R (sectional pipe and Klemm Research silencer)
1986 ATC250R (Desert Bike, WAX-ON seat, Dual Cibie lights, Steering Stabilizer)
1979 ATC110 (Bandito frame and forks, Turbo wheels, disc braked)
    1982 ATC70 (Lifan manual 125)
    1987 LT80 (piped, widened)

This is what I was talking about. It led me to believe that you thought there should be a front cradle for the engine on a Tri moto 175 frame. I was trying to clue you in on what you would have known with a little bit of searching. Don't get mad at me, I'm just cruising along with you waiting for the trainwreck.

If putting that motor in a yt175 is what you want to do, then do it.. Just.. for the love of God, put some brakes on it.

the jack shaft and the rear end both have brakes the one on the jack shaft can be used to start in the power band with a lower gear ratio so it can take off faster or hit it before a hill

not trying to be a dick, but that motor wont rev 10,000 rpm's, its not rare at all almost every sled brand used a 399 at least once, and that sled would never do 90, maybe on a stand

    good luck

they only had a rotax 399 for two years because they where also making a 400 it made no sence for them to make both when theres a 1 cc diffents it has a tac and it easily hits 10000 rpm with no belt 8500 rpm on grass

Keep reving that engine up with no belt on it and you won't have to worry about using it in a trike, have you ever seen one of those clutches blow apart. Just start building it already so we can see the progress.

Yeah, Cut them at the headpipe, turn them and make drag pipes out of them. Or you could cut them at the headpipe turn them and make a set of zoomies out of them. That would be SICK!

Yes. They are a direct bolt-in.
