If it HAS to go in a hardtail, start looking at bigger hardtails, honda's 200 series, excluding the 200x were all hardtails, and I know the 200es Big Red had front suspension. MUCH bigger area to work with as well.
This is my trike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My trike is my best friend, and it is my life. I must master it as I must master myself. My trike without me is useless. Without my trike, I am useless. I must ride my trike true. My trike and I know that what counts is not the amount of miles we ride, but the time we ride together. My trike is human in it's own ways, therefore I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, and it's soul.

Is it a single bed or a queen or king bed? I think it will make a difference.

LMFAO!!!! That was mean but so so funny..........I would use a waterbed frame at minimum. lol Just kiddin........I think you have some good ideas there, get er' goin........I will be watching the thread. Tubular steel is your strongest, I would use square tube at minimum, you will have some torque issues there with the sleep number bedframe angle iron I think.
