i need to get my grinder back today so i can start cutting steel on the sled there were only 2 bolts holding the jacksfaft on on the trike im going to bolt everything together then weld so if a weld brakes i still have a bolt holding i plan on useing square tubing to hold the motor in cause that would be a bad place to cheap out i already put my freinds 07 klx 250 motor in this frame
there was only 2 inches of ground clearance it was killer on ice until it broke that motors going in a go kart now

Box in a piece of tubular.
This is my trike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My trike is my best friend, and it is my life. I must master it as I must master myself. My trike without me is useless. Without my trike, I am useless. I must ride my trike true. My trike and I know that what counts is not the amount of miles we ride, but the time we ride together. My trike is human in it's own ways, therefore I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, and it's soul.

You are going to put a dirtbike front wheel? I wouldnt go that route, it will handle worse than it already does. Also love the decals on the tank, Nice! I am really surprised you havnt lost interest on this yet or got side tracked. You are really working very quickly. Now get it done, we are waiting on the maiden voyage vid!

Are you going to make some kind of guard for around the clutch? Wouldn't want it to take out your leg if it blows apart. But I like the idea, take a bunch of junk that's lying around and make a trike. Enough people take trikes and turn them into junk. Better to see someone turning old junk into a trike.

Ever see a snowmobile belt shred at speed? Tore the whole side of a hood off once.....

As for bed steel.. I'm not sure it was at the same level of strength that fabrication steel is - but I could be wrong.

And for the Rotax... how much does that and the whole clutch system weigh alone? just curious how much it will be impacting the gross weight of the ... what's the word I'm looking for here... Frankenstein?

Good luck. Really really can't wait to see a finished product
