What kind of 200X swing are is this?

What kind of 200X swingarm is this? I just bought the bike and think this must be aftermarket.

looks the same as mine. 83 200x they change to a square tubing style in 84. that is far better design.

That's a stock 83 swinger. 84-85 swinger was made from square tube

I wouldn't be surprised if the 83 swingers were stronger; But the 84/85 was easier to manufacture........

Yours is definitely an 83 200X swinger; Lots of guys see the tubes and think it's an aftermarket but it's merely the way they built them back then.
