    looks the same as mine. 83 200x they change to a square tubing style in 84. that is far better design.

    That's a stock 83 swinger. 84-85 swinger was made from square tube

    I wouldn't be surprised if the 83 swingers were stronger; But the 84/85 was easier to manufacture........

    Yours is definitely an 83 200X swinger; Lots of guys see the tubes and think it's an aftermarket but it's merely the way they built them back then.

    wow good to know.
    guess guys like them more cause the easier to extend
    learn some every day
