    350x tire options

im trying to stick to the size i already have of 22x11x9 in the rear and 23x8x11 in the front but im not sure which tires are good and what wont have to much side bite that im going flip going into a turn. i don't race just puttin around wherever i can which is usually wooded trails.

so what is everyone's consensus on a strong rear and a strong front? i was looking for a decent front knobby and i was leaning towards the maxxis razrs or razr 2s for the rear.

Honestly, you should probably go with a factory (from the 250Rs) Ohtsu 20x11x9 on the rears - you can still get them from Bikebandit and other dealers, only 50.00 a piece. They look just like the OEM 350x. If you're set on keeping the same size on there, the 350x tires are still available as well. IMO, you can't beat the stock, especially for putting around the trails. As far as front tires, Kenda probably makes the closest to a factory tire as you can find, in a bunch of sizes too.

I'm a fan of Holehots on the rear, they have a flat profile, not a rounder OHTSU profile.

Get an XCR though or the sidewall is too thin.

I have XCR's on my 200X and HD's on my 350X. The HD's are heavy, double the weight but no sidewall tears and whats another 10 lbs on top of rider/machine weighing about 500lbs give or take.

They are both fantastic tires, no complaints here. Guys with 25yo machines ought to avoid the mud/water anyhow............

250r tires are the best, But if you want to keep your top speed you will want the stock 350x tires.

IMO i will never buy holeshots again. They just dont hold up like the others, Try to find a set of Turf tamers.
