    350x rear brake help

    ive got caliper for the back of my 350x but the disk have taken some bad hits during its 26 year life and i need to get it off but the big nut on the axle is in the way and i cant get it off

    You might need to heat it up. I use two 15in cresent wrenchs to loosen nuts.You probably know this, the smaller nut is locker.

    IT'S REVERSE THREADS!!

    So when you put the wrench on it you will be pushing down.

    Loosen the lock nut first, then go for the main nut.

    A big cresent wrench is the best. I actually have a BIG pair of channel locks that I grinded the teeth off of. And that is what I use for the axle nut.

    Thats a front caliper bolted to a rear bracket???????

    Am i seeing things????

    I like the front caliper on the back idea ,how hard a swap ? and how good did it work ?

    all i had to do was drill a hole in the bracket havent tested it
