That'll sure put the hurt on a 'yote! It was deffinately a lot of fun rolling a raccoon with one. I sure miss mine everytime I buy ammo for the 22-250.

1982 Honda 200 ATC E. Big Red. Finished but still looking for a few bits and pieces.
1998 John Deere Gator 6x4. "Big Green".
I have had 3 of them......I just picked a new one....never been shot...still had the casmaoline all over it. $150 new. I had a carbine with a Dusk to Dawn Banner series scope, advanced technoligy's stock and SS bent bolt kit. I could hit florescent bricks off hand at 400 yard with ease with my hand loads...Noslor Ballistic tips. My long rifle one I just picked up is highly accurate at 500 yard on a rest with open sights.

Currently trikeless
M44, 91-30, and a Finn M27 here....like the action on my yugo mauser better but these 91-30`s and variants are the cat`s ass...the M44 is the loudest and has by far the largest muzzle blast of any rifle I own
So got the permission from NICS to pick up my mosin... The gun shop is about 45 minutes away, and didnt really feel like taking the drive today. Stopped by another local shop, and found a really clean 1932 91/30 with the hex reciever, wood in pretty decent shape, barrell is nice and clean... So I decide I will pick this one up instead, when!! I got put on a hold for this one too! What the heck is going on here??? About to get myself a UPIN. Never had a problem buying guns before this mosin idea....

I have a friend that is a FFL dealer he told never use your SS# they already know who we are I have yet to have any problems [Nock on wood]
I have a short barreled one with a bayonet... Picked up 400 rounds for 100 bucks... I only paid 25 for the gun so I spent 125 total, however the look on the faces of people when I let her rip on the state owned range is priceless... That thing looks like a black powder cannon with the fire ball it spouts...

1 thing to remember if your shooting surplus ammo most of it is what they call berdan prim it is VERY corrosive when you are done shooting wash the gun down with water and run a very wet patch down the barrel. Then clean it as you would any other gun. Oil will not stop the corrosion ask me how I know.
But besides that very fun to shoot.
For those of you looking watch what you pay you can find them cheap my pop called and said the new Cabelas flier has them for sale for 98.00$
This is actually one of my weirdest hobbies ever. It started at 20 years old, I just could not stop buying surplus rifles at gun shows. I though It was the greatest thing in the world to buy a rifle for 90 bucks covered in cosmoline. Yes, I was not your typical young man. I was so into surplus rifles at one point, I had m44 nagant, m91-30 nagant, swiss k-31, arisaka in 7mm, spanish mexican mauser in 7x57, russian capture k98 mauser, budapest 8x56 straighpull, and a british enfield. I may ever be missing a few.
Although, in general I am a gun collector.
