    250R rare(ish) find!

    Went with my grandpa today to help clean out a workshop of expensive tools (that kept getting broken into). Spotted this out of the corner of my eye.......

















    (and it's not what you might think)


























    Sadly, it does not work I have to tear into it (with a jewelers precision, of course) tomorrow to figure out what's up with it. Usually these things use simple circuit boards. The cool part is I got the owners manual and a cool tip manual with it. Maybe get it going then consider my options...

    In any matter my first priority with it is to get it working so I can drive it

    Did you spray it with the hose to wash it off Xpress?, well no wonder it doesn't work ya dumptruck!, lol! (Kidding ya son, that's a cool R to have.)
    83' 200x (son's). 85' 200 auto-x & 85' 125m (daughters). 84' Tecate(?). 85' KXT Tecate (mine!, mine!, mine!.)+ some others but don't feel like typing them in.

    cool find!! i found this one on craigs last year for 30 bucks!! guy even shipped it to me. I have not tried it yet though. seeing yours now, i may just bust it out!

    Lol a new twist to trikefest?

    I got the transmitter working. Turns out the negative wire was corroded completely off. Once I soldered in some new wire it turned right on. The trike still doesn't work.. I smell fried electronics, which mean something fried inside. I hope it's not something on the circuit board- they're a real pain in the to unsolder and re-solder such small components. Gotta dig further....
