Lowering the forks to compensate for 20 rear tires?

My 86 200x has 20in rear tires on. I think the front seems a little high, so I was wondering if anyone else has lowered to front forks a little bit for a more level ride with 20in rear tires. The front tire is a 23in tall. Any input is greatly appreaciated. I am only going to try it if others have doe it as well. Maybe slide the forks up an inch or so?

Why not just slide them up in the tripples a bit and see how it is? you can always put them back if you don't like it.

Could I get a 10in front rim that would bolt up and fit? I would rather have a 22in front tire.
