the forks are way too long for an ATC250R. You would need custom triples as well as spacers / adapters for the front axle and brake rotor. You would then have to find someone to modify the forks (cut about 4" out of them). I personally would not try to adapt them to an ATC250R. Contact Jason Hall for the correct way to put inverts on your trike - he can hook you up with the parts and the know how.

I've been doing a big boy bike with 46 mm inverts. Its seems to be working out pretty good. I made custom trees to hold early 90's KYB inverts, then extended the swingarm to plus 4", this leveled the ride height. I also reworked the shock for longer travel. It now has over 12" of travel front and rear. I also have a 12" front rim that still lets me use a 23.5" tire, but now have room for a 10" brake disk instead of the 7.25" stock disk.
I know this is an old thread, but do you have any pics of your set up? What is your seat height now?
