"emergency" need to know the o.d. And length of lower dogbone bolt for 84-85 tecate

I am all set to hit the ice tomorrow but I couldnt find a longer bolt that goes through the swingarm and dog bone on the 84-85 Tecate. The machine shop guy here at the University said he will make me one if I can get the proper o.d. He thinks it 14 or 15 mm shoulder bolt but im not sure. The stock bolt is to short due to the Cal-Fab being thicker at the mount. About 3/4 of the threads on the nut are showing. If any one could give me this info of length and width I would really appreciate it so I can have one built a bit longer. I really want to ride tomorrow but I dont want the ass end of my Trike coming apart as im putting in laps or out in the middle of the lake. Thank you.

The 2 dogbone bolts are 14mmX57. That's the best I can do right now.

whats the 57? Length of thread?
I saw on bike bandit it says
    92002A: BOLT,ARM CENTER,L=146
so its 146 long 14 mm thick so maybe the 57 is the threads?
This will be so cool to have this built today. Only have 4 hours though, but I think were close.
Hes also hooking me up with rivits for the #5 I laser cut for the # plate
Its real nice to have these kind of facilities when you have an emergency part needed.

57mm should be the OAL of the bolt.

well I never got the bolt made. Not sure if I should ride or not. Literally the rear end is hanging together by a thread. Maybe 2 threads on that nut. Makes me nervous. A good way to rip your ass off with all those studs if the ass end drops. This sux

Raffa has to have something kickin around. If he's like me he has PLENTY of hardware kickin around. I save EVERYTHING...........

If Jim Baldwin from .org is going he also has tons of fastners. He's the airplane guy that does all the nice builds.

A 9/16ths diameter bolt would work in a pinch, not for jumping, just riding on the ice. Your suppose to fix these things before the event

Lol, I thought I had the right one but its a 5/8" bolt. I was gonna go to the fastner place to swap it out but was late to work and couldnt. Will have to wait till monday but it seems it doesnt matter as I just got home to a foot of snow and 3 foot drifts. My Tecate is buried under a tarp and a drift almost 4 feet tall. Getting that crazy lake effect snow off the great lakes and im surrounded by farm fields so im buried and the lake and pond will be no good. Gonna get the wheels off, get her in the house, wrench on her dial it in good and have her ready for next weekend I guess. Wish I had a plow for my quad.
