84 yamaha 225dx questions

hey so im about to pick up 2 84 yamaha 225DXs for 300 bucks. both are in parts and need to be put back together. that part isnt the big deal im good at that stuff but the one needs a new drivetrain. both of em for 300 bucks in parts is it worth it?

I would say it is, depending on the shape of them? As long as you can make one great 225 out of them, I would. I bought one myself for $500, but it was mostly all there and in decent shape. One issue I am having though is a Carb kit. I cannot find one anyway?

yea i have a few pictures umm the one has a rebuilt engine and everything else is good except the driveshaft snapped and the other one ran untill he took the engine apart to rebuild it and stopped swapped the engine from the other n just hasnt put em back together click on this and it will show you http://allentown.craigslist.org/rvs/2162642450.html
