    200x alternator rotor removal

the clymer manual calls for honda tool 07733-0010000. so i looked around flea bay and found flywheel pullers for 185s/200e,es,m. those pullers should work for the 200x or not? so do i have to use the puller or can i just use a bolt with the same threads to do the job?

If your talking about the flywheel the front axle will work. Same threads as the flywheel puller.

I have the tool you are talking about...It is like a long bolt with a t-handle. I bet a bolt of the same diameter & thread pitch would do the trick.

It's not actually a puller but a bolt that threads into the flywheel and pushes it off the end of the crank. It's a metric bolt, 14mm x 1.5 pitch. You might be able to get one from your local hardware store.

An impact wrench will zip it right off, or you can use an oil filter strap wrench to hold the flywheel while you turn the bolt clockwise.
